Why us

Local. Fast. Done right.

We're the wheel shop locals send their friends to. Here's why.

Athens local

Family-owned, right here in town. You're not shipping wheels to a warehouse — you're dropping them off and meeting the person fixing them.

Wheel-only focus

We don't do bumpers, panels, or windshields. Wheels are it. That means every job gets a wheel specialist, not a generalist with a paint gun.

24–48 hour turnaround

Curb rash and standard refinishes on four wheels: 24 to 48 hours. Heavy refinishes, diamond cut and color changes take longer. We confirm timing with the quote.

Workmanship warranty

Our work is covered by a limited warranty. If a finish fails, we redo it. Rated 4.7 on Google by 73 customers, because we care about every wheel that leaves the shop.

Absolute lifesavers! I bent my wheel rim, causing it to deflate, the night before I had to drive up to Washington DC. I tried 5 different tire shops the next day and none of them could help me in the short time. I was finally recommended here and I don't know what I would have done without it. Fixed my rim back to new in like 2 hours time and I was able to make my drive with zero issues.

Excellent work. I curb rashed my wheel while on vacation. I called around after returning home, and New Look Alloy got my wheel repaired quickly, beautifully, and inexpensively (one day, ready by afternoon).

These guys operate with top notch integrity. On a long troubleshooting journey for issues with ride quality, a bent rim was ruled out by these guys. They offered me additional resources to continue figuring out the problem and sent me on my way. They have a loyal customer for all future issues!

Common questions

You asked. We answered.

How long does wheel refinishing take?

Curb rash and standard refinishes on four wheels take 24–48 hours. Heavy refinishes, diamond cut, color changes and major structural damage take longer. We confirm timing with the quote.

How much does it cost?

Quotes are free and built around your wheels. Repairs start at $125 a wheel, and curb rash on all four starts at $600, depending on the damage. Diamond cut and color changes are quoted per job from photos. Sales tax is already included.

Do I need to leave my car, or just the wheels?

Either works. Most customers drop the wheels off (mounted or loose) and pick them up when they're ready. If you'd rather leave the car, we'll dismount, refinish, remount, and rebalance.

Can you fix bent or cracked rims?

Yes. Bent wheels are straightened in-house and checked with a dial indicator, and cracked aluminum is welded in-house. Severe bends and cracks are a safety call — we inspect first and tell you straight whether it's worth repairing or whether you need a replacement.

Will the repair look factory-new?

Yes. We use PPG paints, triple-coat clear, and a baked cure cycle — the same process OEM finishes use. The Gallery page has 8 before-and-after sets so you can judge for yourself.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Our workmanship is covered by a limited warranty. If the finish fails (peeling, clear-coat issues, paint defects), we redo it. New road hazards and fresh curb hits aren't covered. Ask us for the full details.

How do I pay?

Payment is due when you pick up your wheels. We take cash, credit and debit cards, Cash App, Venmo and Apple Pay. Cards carry a 4% processing fee. Color changes and bigger jobs take a deposit to get started.

What else do you work on?

Brake caliper painting, new TPMS sensors, plastic wheel covers and hubcaps, big wheels 24 inches and up, and truck, off-road and beadlock wheels. We'll mount tires on your wheels, but we don't sell tires. No motorcycle wheels and no mobile service.
